Solution: Top menu Tools > System Diagnostic > Tools tab and run all cleaning scripts. Worked like a charm as you can see here http://www1.ascor.ch/plus-values wink

Please post us what you did with a short description of your work. Very soon we'll build a page on www.ionizecms.com to showcase websites done with our beloved CMS.

Please add a new topic in this forum section for each website so we won't endup here with a terribly long forum discussion.

Congratulations to the new Community Manager !

#6 Re: Suggestions » Extended fields for specific page type » 2011-04-05 15:40:23

if($aurex != $cache_active) { return $bad_cms; } smile smile smile

#7 Re: Suggestions » Extended fields for specific page type » 2011-04-05 15:37:04

Aurex, sure we will do the cache when we will migrate ionize to CI 2.0 because the cache of CI 2.0 is suitable, which is not the case on the actual Framework version ionize is based on. By the way, don't forget also about server cache solution which really improve the performances, I am thinking here of APC or Xcache.

#8 Re: Made with ionize (your ionize CMS website) » How to remove en from the url? » 2011-03-20 10:55:45

Why would you do that ? Languages in url is one main feature of ionize which is really powerful for SEO

#9 Re: How to? » How to disable e-mail auto-replacing? » 2011-03-20 10:53:42

indrek note that is you do this you will let spambots to get the email adresses and then you will get a lot of spam to your inbox.

#10 Re: News & Announcements » Ionize 0.9.6 in beta-testing » 2011-03-07 20:07:18

I will add that it's generally much more stable to manage sources from the coder side, and conflictings easier to solve, it's also faster etc.

#11 Re: How to? » Mod_rewrite Is disabled on my host » 2011-03-05 21:57:37

Ok we will consider for next release, btw it's not a bug, mod_rewrite with Ionize is a requirement as said in the user guide.

#12 Re: How to? » Mod_rewrite Is disabled on my host » 2011-03-05 14:45:00

We have made huge changes in the latest 0.96 which is now available for download, can you test again and see if the problem still appear ?

#13 Re: How to? » Cant find 'Articles' in Content Admin » 2011-03-05 14:43:43

Now you can download 0.96 from Ionize main website and the feature will be available

#14 Re: How to? » PHP in views » 2011-03-05 14:39:32

Now you can download officially 0.96 from the main website

#15 Re: News & Announcements » Ionize 0.9.6 in beta-testing » 2011-03-05 14:29:21

Just a quick message to say that from now on you have to use Github to get development versions https://github.com/ionize

Very soon the Assembla space will be shutdown

#16 Re: How to? » Ionize and cyrillic » 2011-02-21 17:55:55

So to clarify why Themhouse is so happy: we will think of a new feature which will convert a cyrillic article title or page title into a standard URL, probably by integrating some characters tables conversion, but this feature for 0.97 not before.

#17 Re: How to? » Ionize and cyrillic » 2011-02-21 15:44:03

I don't think having such characters in the uri's is a good idea, as a SEO point of view, for the moment Google doesn't really care about them and that will lead probably to catastrophic situations (still talking about SEO here).

What would probably be good would be that the CMS convert cyrillic characters to english ones (like here for example http://www.google.ch/#sclient=psy&hl=fr … 01ef0fe292 ) but I can tell you in advance that the converter would heavily kill the cms performances, and that we are not ready to develop such a thing before a lot of years smile

#18 Re: How to? » How to use extended fields for one type of page / article ? » 2011-02-21 15:24:07

Daibai: welcome to ionize. I can read on your blog in french "Il utilise la base de backendpro (un environnement backoffice tout près dédié à CodeIgniter)." which is absolutly not right, every component of ionize has been developped from scratch except MOCHA UI the admin interface design (which was highly hacked). Can you change that on your blog to avoid misunderstanding people coming to ionize forums asking about backendpro ?

#19 Re: ionize CMS core: bug report » missing some accented vowels for Latin Spanish » 2011-02-18 16:20:17

I am not convinced by Mantis (I've used that wisely in the past), I would better think like you are suggesting of using more modern tools like Assembla or GITHub to do such a task, or why not BitBucket like Ellislab for CodeIgniter

#20 Re: ionize CMS core: bug report » missing some accented vowels for Latin Spanish » 2011-02-15 09:53:21

yes, exactly this is the right section to do so, later we'll probably try to find a good bug tracker script or something like that but for now the forums are enough

#23 Re: Un petit café ? » Just excited! » 2011-02-12 13:28:42

Thank you for the kind words and welcome to Ionize !

#24 Re: How to? » How to enable comments on articels ? » 2011-02-12 13:25:55

The commenting system is not ready yet in the core, it has been removed totally in the upcoming 0.96 and will be reenabled once we get it working right.

#25 Re: Suggestions » Cache system » 2011-02-12 13:24:19

Certainly it's a good idea, it's on our Todo list !
