Admin themes

Hi,
I started working on the new admin theme. When I create a new theme folder and I try to set it by default I can't see it! When I rename the folder to admin-mytheme I see the name in a drop down menu, but when I save this change it doesn't have any effect.
Can you describe more specifically how to create my own admin template?

Thanks and sorry for my bad english smile
Regards
Milen

Re: Admin themes

The bug is in MY_Controller file (or it isn't? maybe it isn't full implemented yet?).
So... file:
application/core/MY_Controller.php
Line: 655 / 656

		// Set the admin theme as current theme
		Theme::set_theme('admin');

Change it to this to enable admin theme swicher:

		// Set the admin theme as current theme
		Theme::set_theme(Settings::get('theme_admin'));

Re: Admin themes

Be able to create one admin theme was one "old" idea.

As it will need a lot of hacks, it is not a good idea to create one custom admin.
Btw, it will make the migration to a more recent version more difficult.

Re: Admin themes

Well, without hack the admin and break down everything, is there any way in a future version of ionize to build up a main CSS where base color et icons themes could be modified ? that would be greatly appreciated !

Re: Admin themes

@raskrial that's is already exists in the system, copy the original "styles" inside the admin styles folder and mess with the css files in it. you can redo almost everything the look of the admin side without breaking the functionality too much.
