[Request] A Module that Saves Form Email Adresses into DB

Dear forum,

I am searching for a module which stores the customers e-mail adress from the contact form into a custom database table.
It would be the greatest, if the content of the database table can be visualized also in the ionize back-end :-)

Is there someone who made something like that?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

it's sounds like a newsleter module subscribe section, what do you want from the email list?

Best Regards,

Re: [Request] A Module that Saves Form Email Adresses into DB

Hello Adam,

it is for my newest project: the pre-opening page of a exclusive Boutique Hotel in Italy.
On the website, interested people can send a booking request to the hotel, if they accept also to be on the newsletter list (by html checkbox) they should be inserted in a "custom" DB table.
Afterwards the hotel is allowed to send newsletter mails to the people who accepted. For the hotel, it would be the best if it could access the email-list directly from a menu-point in the Ionize back-end.

I will post you the link to the new website, it will be online in a few weeks.
Do you have any experiences with such models?

Best D

I will upload my newsleter module in this week, I created the repo for it: https://github.com/adamos42/io_newsleter
Thats can save the emails to database and you can send email to them.

Re: [Request] A Module that Saves Form Email Adresses into DB

Im uploaded what I have, right now the module can save the subscribed users and can list them. Not much, but I will finish the code soon with the main features.

To install you need to clone the repository:

git clone https://github.com/adamos42/io_newsleter /path/to/ionize/modules/io_newsleter

And install on the administration page.
