Re: Cache system

jej yes, i had to implement the CodeIgniter default cache system with many hacks to ionize control panel to refresh the cache in every update of content.

CodeIgniter v2 has a better cache system, maybe a temporal port?

Re: Cache system

depending on the number of visitors, one of my sites receives over 300 visits a day and really notice the difference with global cache enabled or disabled, Obviously it's like to serve a static html page.
But it would be interesting a partial caching for only a few sections.

Re: Cache system

I guess it depends on what you are caching?
You can use .htaccess for example to force the browser to cache images, CSS and Javascript libraries or where you thinking of caching things like stored procedures, datasets etc?

Re: Cache system

I think you can use the cache of codeigniter, from a simple way, just put the code on aplication control of Page and articles...
