No input file specified.

I'm new in Ionize and I just want to know where and how would I fix this error:

No input file specified.

It displays in the following url:

http://thepbe.org/articles/admin

and in every url that displays an article

the location of my ionize installation is in thepbe.org/articles

I would be glad if you would reply to this post soon.

Thanks!

Re: No input file specified.

I'd also appreciate help with this...

I just installed a fresh copy of ionize on my server and after the installation I can see the default home page, but when I go to the admin URL I get this error page:
No input file specified.

Any help is much appreciated!

Re: No input file specified.

OK, here's the solution that worked for me.
Edit the following line in the .htaccess file in the root of your website, from this:

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php/$1

to this:

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ index.php?/$1

Thank you a lot,
Just for others to know, It solved my problem as well, using Ionize 1.0.7 version, fresh install, on SHARED hosting.

But I didn' t faced the same problem (using the same ionize istallation files always) in my  Xammp local host.

It seems very  strange to me that no one mentions it, even now, on installation directions..And I guess this "bug" drives many beginners , like me, away from ionize.

Thank you again ! :-)
