I'm using the latest version 0.9.7-62 (it actually shows 0.9.8 when I go to Help -> About).
When you go to Settings -> Advanced Setting -> Articles, you can choose the TinyMCE buttons for the BODY text area, but not for the SUMMARY text area.
If anyone knows how to edit that, please let me know.
Thanks ![]()

For the "small" tinyMCE editors, the buttons cannot be defined for the moment.
This feature will perhaps be added, but is not a priority for the moment, sorry. ![]()

That's problematic because I can't use it for RIGHT-TO-LEFT content since there is no way to add a DIRECTION=RTL button.
I wish you would reconsider this...

We will consider that.

Great, thanks!
If it would make it easier, I just had another idea: the SUMMARY textarea could just mirror the CONTENT textarea's buttons.
That way, at least it would be consistent.

The current "Summary" textarea is a "small" tinyMCE editor.
Because of this, it has by default less buttons.
This will not be changed.
But, as you will be able to setup the buttons, you'll free to extend it so it looks like the "content" editor if you wish.

OK, as long as the buttons will be customizable that will be fantastic ![]()

It will, I added that to the 0.9.9.
Btw, the "summary" field doesn't exist anymore in the 0.9.9, but no stress, it will be easy to migrate it and to create one Extend Field to replace it.

I actually think that's a better idea not to have it ![]()
