Re: Event Calendar Module

The developper documentation (which contains the "how-to" about modules) is being written...

You can have a look at the "fancyupload" module to see how a module is built. I do my best to provide this technical doc very quickly !

Re: Event Calendar Module

Can event calendar be extended to "availability calendar" to show booking periods?

If someone from development team reads this, please be aware with following fact.

If someone is to develop booking module, or similar module for multilingual site there is one issue to think about.

Most of CMS-es solves multilingual site and translations by simply copying original page and translate it to other language.

But if someone is on road to develop reservation calendar (or something similar) he should plan this in such way that CMS editor is presented with form where he enters reserved periods in DB.

Every calendar (which shows on outer site) looks in same table in DB and pulls out same "date" data but presents it on different language, regarding language page visitor is watching.

So if multilingual site has 10 langs, Editor doesn't have to edit whole bunch of (10) calendars, but on only one place in system.

I'm sure this logic can be used with other types of content also.
